How can the Writing Center help me?
- Getting started: Staring at a blank Word document? We can brainstorm ideas with you to get the writing process started.
- Forming an outline: Bring your notes and we’ll collaborate on an organized structure for your paper.
- Developing your assignment: You’ve got two paragraphs so far, but you need at least five pages. We’ll help you develop ideas and expand your paper.
- Citing your sources: When you’re all done writing but still have sources to cite, we can show you how.
- Reviewing your work: If your final draft is ready, bring it by! We’ll go over it and assist with adding the finishing touches.
Those examples are just the beginning. Make an appointment today with our friendly, professional tutoring staff, who are ready to help you succeed.
What does the Writing Center offer?
We offer appointments in-person on the first floor of the Library and on Zoom. Writing Center tutors are also available from immediate drop-in help if you don’t have an appointment.
What will my Writing Center visit look like?
Arrive at the Writing Center 5 minutes before your appointment. Check in at the front desk.
